Wimax is there but &lt;a href="http://www.tangerinemedia.net/" title="" rel="nofollow"&gt;no&lt;/a&gt; &lt;a href="http://www.igokenya.com/" title="" rel="nofollow"&gt;one&lt;/a&gt; seems to be doing mobile just yet. Wananchi have a wimax thing up their sleeves so maybe they'll go that way?</description>

As for Safaricom, maybe in afew years Apple will let us unlock the Iphone, which by then should be 3G capable (right now its not), and we can use it on the Safaricom network. For now, i am really resisting the urge to buy the darn gadget. btw, UG was going ahead with Wimax plans...anything similar in the .ke horizon?</description>
